Update-ish
I'm about 3300 words from 50k for JulNo. However, I'm about 4700 from 90k for my total word count. I'm not exactly sure what orifice I'm supposed to pull these words from. I'm running out of story.
So... I got pissed just after dinner and called Adam... who immediately IMed Jason... who immediately IMed the accountant -- to find out that my check had never been mailed. Adam says he'll get it in the mail to me at the new address. At this rate, my Bobobie will actually be here before the check. At least it's actually in the mail. That's more than I can say for my check.
My other problem with writing is, the longer I keep staring at the screen, the more exhausted I feel. This doesn't happen with paper. It's no fair!
So I'm singing along with Edenbridge and Battlelore and Epica to stay awake as I type. I'm shooting for 2600 words before 2 a.m. I still have 1400 to go.
Wish me luck.

Congrats on your progress on the writing front too, and death to those who don't mail checks out properly. I'm jealous of your dedication! Lately I've been staring at the screen as well, feeling all productive and motivated, yes, motivated, and still.. nothing comes/came out of my hands. It's infuriating!
<3 <3 I hope you don't mind my shameful asking, but did you recieve my Paypal transfer to you? I was too quick and send you a money request first (because I don't often work with PayPal and even though the site was in Dutch, I was still too hurried to read the instructions right). I cancelled that one and made a regular transfer.
Lots of *SUPERHUGS* !!!
I'm so happy to hear you're feeling all kinds of motivated! My motivation is to be done by tomorrow at noon (at the latest) with a 90,000 word book, so that I can have one night of good sleep before we have to start running around like madwomen with our packing and moving. This is what is keeping me writing. That, and thinking about how Janice (my author liaison) and Carady (my editor) were so stunned to realize I was almost done with the next book. I want to get it to them by next week. That's the rest of my motivation. *sleepy nod nod nod nod*
I would love to see more of the novel you shared over on LJ: "The Lost Words of Tabulon". It was a really interesting beginning, and I would love to see where you are going to go with it. (And I still volunteer that if you want it published in English, I'll gladly help with any clean-up needed. This is what I do for Seven Seas, after all.)
I will take many pictures, maybe even with my real camera, of the whole moving process and post them here. You will feel like you were here. It's so sad-amusing: two people are willing to help us moving, but one is in California and you're the other; you both live too far away to help, while the people here in town are wusses.
I did receive your PayPal transfer -- and I meant to respond about it, but I'm a little brain dead lately, between the move, work, editing Amaranth, working on Verdant, and all of this with the check. I got the transfer right after I put the doujinshi in a box. Once I get it back out of a box at the new place, I'll put it and FMA into a box and get them off to you. You wanted the Millennium Kingdom Remix and FMA 1-6, right?
Speaking of work, I have to start getting ready for it now. Later, sweetie! *BIG HUGS!!* ♥ ♥
