A post of the week

Okay, over on the el Jay, I'm trying to keep up a New Year's promise to make a post a day. So far, I'm even succeeding. Now I'm going to make a promise to make at least a post a week here, even if it's just a "hi, I was here" type of thing.

So... You know I don't think I've ever taken the time to note down all my journals. It's actually a sadly impressive list:
LiveJournalInsaneJournal
Antania
Apollymi
Caitlyn_Stryker
CaptMoonie
ESM
KatherineWrites
SamMalloy
Symfora
Takatori_Mamoru
VP_Lina
Apollymi
ApollymiLJ
ESM
KatherineBell
Melinoe
Makari
Symfora
Other Journals
JournalFen
Apollymi

Inksome
Apollymi

That's everything save the author blog, the MySpace, and the Facebook... which I can't really use all that often because my father has found me there.

Anyway, it's almost lunch time and I'm awaiting Katusko for foods. She says she's about 5 away, so I'm gonna quit this now and start heading outside.

0__0 that's a helluvalot of journals ^^. I think I mentioned it in another convo, but I'm getting a little tired of all these journaling sites and I think I'm going to condense it all and not just sign up for everything new. I have several other journals too, but I never update them (I forget the one here often as well, if I didn't remind myself that you post here too I'd never log in). I think I even have a Scribblit (Scribbled?) account somewhere, and a Vox too... but I'm not interested in a Twitter, or a Dreamwidth account what seems to be the big next new thing now (you always know what's big when people start begging for codes XDD).

I did open this account when LJ was in the middle of that strikethrough thing and I was afraid I was going to lose everything. But well, I have my robust website, LJ proved to be more robust than I thought, and I guess I'm more antisocial and less interactive than I thought, because even if someone would give me a Dreamwidth or whatever I don't think I would even use it. I feel old XDD
The ones here on IJ, like Melinoe and Makaria, are because I like the name and might eventually find a use for them.

As for the LJ ones, I have Antania because a lot of the people on my usual journal don't give half a damn about cooking or recipes. ESM is my original LJ, where I ended up with a stalker and LJ Abuse would do nothing to help, leading to me creating Apollymi. A friend of mine got two LJ accounts, Caitlyn_Stryker and CaptMoonie, decided she didn't want them after all, and gave me the logins. Now I'm saving them for I ever need an account I can easily rename. KatherineWrites and SamMalloy are my professional accounts for my writing (since they're the two names I'll be writing under). And the rest are old roleplaying or writing accounts.

I have a JournalFen account to comment on Fandom_Wank, and the Inksome was for investigating an RPG I had thought I might join (but didn't). Somewhere I have a Vox and a Blurty, but I don't remember for certain one way or another.

Basically, it's more that I've been journaling entirely too long and am in the habit of remembering my passwords.
I tried to figure out all the journals, but I couldn't place them all. I recognized your cooking account of course, and some of your writing journals - bummer about the stalker, that's really gruesome. Bah! I do have some old RP accounts but since I left RP in general the last one was updated begin 2008. I think I'm going to delete them one day, but it's not a priority. I have my writing journal ofcourse, the Golden Path, and my art journal, Silver Mountains, and I do have an account that I sometimes use to comment on discussions that people can't track back to me (not to wank, but sometimes (fandom) discussions can be so delicate that I don't want my regular LJ account involved), but I haven't used it in forever.

I grabbed a JournalFen because I coincidentally stumbled upon a moment where they had free sign ups. Usually time zones and stuff prevent me from being on time, but I managed to grab an account. I never do something with that too.. I keep thinking of making it into my personal review journal with thoughts on everything I watch, like Simpsons, anime, movies, CSI...but for some reason I default to LiveJournal.

I have been on LJ in 2003, when I set my first baby steps into fandom ^^. Funny and strange that after almost six years I'm all but fed up with it.
Yeah, I didn't mention any of my writing communities, like Eternal_SailorM on LJ and [info]kolasis here, or my art community on LJ, ApollyMix. And I'm not counting GreatestJournal since it's gone with the wind.

...And the one I forgot to mention: DeadJournal (that I haven't used since 2004). I need to do a rename on that or something.

I had the first account, ESM on LJ, from February 2001, 5 months too late to be considered an Early Adopter.

Some things come with an expiration on enjoyability... or they should. *hugs* ♥
