So I got this crazy idea in my head. I decided that I was going to do a challenge per month from now till NaNoWriMo. In other words, I was going to write a certain amount of words per day (the number of words depending on the day, with the number depending on the month. Something like this:
June = 1000 words per day x 30 days = 30,000 words
July = 1700 words per day x 31 days = 52,700 words
August = 1500 words per day x 31 days = 46,500 words
September = 1500 words per day x 30 days = 45,000 words
October = 1500 words per day x 31 days = 46,500 words
November = 1700 words per day x 30 days = 51,000 words
For a half year total of 226,700 words.
That's going to be split between
Verdant,
Ash, and
Azure. I'm shooting to have each one of them over the 90,000 words mark. Once those three are in a good place, then I'm going to start busting my butt some on
Hunter's Path and some of my other projects. And I'm taking December off. Because even I need time to recoup.
And within those plans comes Dragon*Con, Halloween, Thanksgiving, tons of birthdays, one anniversary, and possibly a vacation/trip to D.C. (if it can be arranged). The latter will be a research trip, though; photos of D.C. (and a walking knowledge of the city area) would be so very helpful. That, or I'll ask everyone who goes there to take me
LOTS of photos.
My slack offs of the day have been running to two Wal-Marts in search of an air filter and watching about three episodes of
Dragonball Z.
