Verdict

So the verdict on the previous post is this:

Having more than one account does indeed solve the login issue. Clearing all the cookies from my cache does clear up the site scheme problem. Those two things are good and fixed. Hurray!!!

However, the tag problem does not resolve itself. On the Edit Tags page, all tags still have to be manually typed in, instead of being able to click on them on the list and have them select and save. Trying to do this leaves no tags selected. Tags must be manually typed in.

On the other hand, I do now have my back-up journals transferred over here now.
[info]symfora - For job applications and moving news (always Friends Locked)
[info]katherinebell - For writing and publishing news (will probably always be Public)
[info]hekate - Not sure what this will be for, but it was free and I snagged it (no idea on visibility status yet)

Symfora is the only one with content (ported over from LiveJournal), but the others should have something on them soon.

What a pain

This is turning into a right pain. At least the Permanent Accounts were fairly cheap.

The long and short of it is, InsaneJournal keeps losing information. I can't save my password, because if I do, then it'll default to this weird entry style, where I have to post things privately, then go back and edit the entry to how it's supposed to be. Sucks if I want to post to a comm. So I can't have Firefox save my password. ~.~

The tags will not selected from their drop down menu on the Edit Tags page. Each tag has to be typed in manually.

But the one that takes the cake is that my site scheme keeps changing from WorkSafe Sidebar to New Tweak.

I'm going to try completely clearing out my cookies and see if that will help. Here's hoping.

(And apparently another fix for the log-in issue is to create a second account. The possibilities of porting Symfora and Antania over here is worth considering.)

I still love IJ, though.
