Apollymi ::||:: Dark Passion Play

This is in addition to my last post. To the first half of the post, rather, instead of the latter half. Yes, it's in regards to the Aliens bit.

If Doc mentions this little idea she has of completely doing away with Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection -- and keeping Hicks, Ripley, and Newt together -- just one more time, I might be tempted to write it. Well, more tempted to write it. I mean, as it is, I was already looking up information on Commissioned Officers in the Marine Corps and awards in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Normally this wouldn't be so bad, but dammit! I'm supposed to be working on Verdant right now!!!

It's amusing as hell to me that one of my favorite movies of all time is Aliens. If you ever want to just completely make my day, stick the extended edition of this movie in my DVD player (or, you know, give me an iMac, but I don't ask that much of people).

Inside the house is especially bright tonight. Doc's watching Aliens with me, so we needed extra lights. Me, I've watched it so many times that I can deliver the majority of Hicks' and Hudson's lines right along with them; I've watched it in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night.

It's also a bit funny to me that three of my favorite movies all have Michael Biehn in them: Aliens, The Terminator, and Terminator II: Judgment Day. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact the man is hot like a hot thing. I swear, that's not the only reason, though. Really. Honestly. I swear. ;)

I also finally got around to changing out my mood theme. All Usagi, all of the time. It kinda fit... as long as I don't get it in my head to make an Aliens one. :D

So, if I forgot to mention it, Amaranth: The Preterhumans Book 1 is now listed on Cacoethes Publishing's website on the Coming Soon page. I also got a copy of the finalized cover today. ( It's hiding under the cut tag, because I'm nice like that. )
